Meals & More Challenge

When the school holidays arrive, it should signal weeks of fun for children, but the sad reality is that thousands of families across the UK will struggle to put food on the table.

Meals & More believe that no child should go hungry, even when there is no structured support outside of the school term for the 4 million children in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland who receive free school meals.

That’s why Meals & More started, to put an end to holiday hunger and make sure that children don’t suffer six weeks of isolation, without a decent meal.

As a partner Charity to Brakes Foodservice (the account I manage through my Foodservice role at Tata Global beverages (Tetley Tea), a proud dad to 3 amazing & privileged children and husband to Emma who has worked with children less fortunate than ours for the last 15 years with the NSPCC and Childline, Meals & More purpose is close to my heart & my job.

Starting on the 22nd July 2019 (The Monday where the schools close for summer and hunger starts) I’m going to complete my first 4km daily run and keep it up spanning  4 months in aid of the 4million children living in poverty in the UK. With one days rest per week and completing the challenge on 16th October – I will have completed 300km!

We would love for you to pledge what ever you can in support of this amazing cause – details of how you can do this are below.
